Once again we kicked off our 4th of July festivities with a parade through the neighborhood. Golf carts, bikes, trikes, scooters, and old muscle cars all decked out in red, white, and blue. This year we rented a golf cart, too and had a blast all weekend zipping around the neighborhood. Boppo led the charge!
Vinny still doesn't love loud sounds, so we outfitted him with sound canceling headphones and off we went down to Nana Peg's where the fireworks are crazy. We all agreed that as exciting and festive as it is, next year we'll stick to the safety zone of our cul de sac and watch the fireworks a little further away from ground zero. Whoa, was it ever loud!
